Admiring art of all kinds has put me in a happy place for as long as I can remember. I delight in the diverse subjects and techniques used by artists to tell their stories and I marvel at the messages they convey. Art remains the great escape that calms and distracts me whether I am creating it or absorbing it.

My current focus has been on sunsets as nature’s abstraction. I also love lily ponds, goofy doodles and fascinating people as subjects to paint.
